A brand-new 7″ vinyl from the Mafia & Fluxy camp, built on a heavy foundation.
The A-side, “Babylon Bomb,” features MediSun delivering a relaxed, focused vocal that locks perfectly into the roots reggae groove. On the flip, “Babylon Dub” by The Pharmacist strips the riddim down, letting the production breathe in classic dub fashion.
The musicianship here captures a rich, live feel often missing from modern digital productions. The track features Leroy Mafia on keys and a standout, deep bassline, alongside Fluxy on drums. They are joined by Stephen “Marley” Wright on guitar, with a brass section featuring Megumi Mesaku (saxophone) and Henry “Buttons” Tenyue (trombone).
The riddim was built at Iguana Studios in Brixton, London, with MediSun’s vocals recorded in Jamaica.
