Sabaï Di is Amatah Keo’s showcase album (vocals & dubs) produced, recorded and mixed by Roberto Sánchez at A-Lone Ark Muzik Studio. Known for his meticulous approach to 1970s-style reggae — tape machines, warm live instrumentation and deep dub mixing — Sánchez gives this record a timeless and authentically Jamaican feel.
Musically, the album sits in the lineage of the Rockers era: spiritual roots themes, heavy basslines, bright skanking guitars and spacious dub atmospheres. It echoes the classic sound shaped at Channel One, Black Ark and Harry J studios during the mid-to-late 1970s, a period that defined roots reggae worldwide. Sabai Di taps into that tradition with meditative vocals and Lone Ark’s signature analog depth.
Over the past two decades, Roberto Sánchez has worked with roots legends such as Earl Zero, The Viceroys, Milton Henry and Alpheus — a track record that has made Lone Ark one of the most respected names in the modern roots scene. This new release continues that heritage, blending historical authenticity with a refined and contemporary production quality.
